The warranty period provides long-term protection starting from the date of first registration:

- Most models registered in the Middle East, including MG ICE, HEV, PHEV, and BEV (electric) vehicles, are covered for 6 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first).

- For MG Commercial Vehicles, the warranty is 36 months or 120,000 km, subject to official MG warranty terms and conditions.

MG provides an extended warranty of 8 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first) for the high-voltage battery pack, drive motor, power electronic box (PEB), and vehicle control unit (VCU). This comprehensive coverage ensures long-term reliability for key new energy vehicle components.

Note: For the MG 8 PHEV, the EV battery is subject to a specific warranty period of 96 months or 120,000 km (whichever comes first).

MG Anti-Perforation Warranty coverage in the GCC provides protection against rust-through corrosion on body panels for 6 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first), excluding damage caused by extreme environmental factors.

To maintain coverage throughout the warranty period, the vehicle must undergo an annual inspection by an authorized MG Repairer. An MG Corrosion Warranty Annual Inspection Sheet must be completed, and the anti-perforation service documentation record must be properly stamped at each inspection.

Any identified corrosion issues must be rectified to official MG standards at an authorized MG Body Repair Centre.

Most MG Parts and Accessories that are sold and installed on an MG vehicle by an authorized MG Dealer or MG Dealer Accessory Distributor before delivery to the customer are covered under the applicable portion of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (such as Bumper-to-Bumper, Powertrain, etc.), in accordance with official MG warranty terms and conditions.

If MG Accessories are installed after vehicle delivery, or are replaced under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, they are covered for both parts and labor for the longer of the following periods:

12 months or 20,000 km (whichever comes first), or

The remaining balance of the applicable portion of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

This coverage does not apply to Associated Accessories.

MG Licensed and Associated Accessories are covered under the accessory-specific manufacturer’s warranty and are not warranted.
